In a Nutshell...
Our family started our journey navigating the turbulent waters of Tuberous Sclerosis in 2013 when our first son, Luke, was born. He began having seizures at three weeks old and had his first brain surgery at five weeks old. Since then, we have been chasing our unicorn- seizure control. In July of 2016 we made the decision to move forward with another surgery at Texas Children's Hospital. We have been seizure free since the surgery, December 2016.
This website is meant for you to be a part of our experience fighting the constant battle that is chronic disease and also to explain to you how we got to this place and who we have become because of it.
Anyone who has met Luke instantly falls in love with his strength, spirit, and innocence and we welcome you to meet the angel that we have on lease.

What is TSC?Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form in many different organs, primarily in the brain, eyes, heart, kidney, skin and lungs. The aspects of TSC that most strongly impact quality of life are generally associated with the brain: seizures, developmental delay, intellectual disability and autism.
